Moe Harkless tallies 19 points, 13 boards as Blazers triumph
Portland Trail Blazers small forward Moe Harkless racked up a season-high 19 points with 13 rebounds as a starter on Wednesday, hitting 8-of-11 shots with one 3-pointer, one assist and two steals in 28 minutes of action.
The Blazers improved their record to .500 with the victory, bumping the Houston Rockets from the eight-seed in the process, and Harkless made a strong case to keep the power forward job ahead of Meyers Leonard and Noah Vonleh. He's playing well and is worth keeping an eye on once Portland returns to action.
Harkless has earned a -1.1 nERD this season, ranking him inside the top 100. He's averaging 5.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game on 47.6 percent shooting from the field. His 10.0 Total Rebound Percentage is a career high.
