Marc Gasol (foot) out indefinitely for Grizzlies

Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol reportedly has a broken right foot and will be out indefinitely.

What It Means:

This is a huge blow for the Grizzlies, and a broken foot is a potential season-ending injury for Gasol. Look for Matt Barnes and Jeff Green to get a lot more minutes at power forward while Zach Randolph and Mike Conley will be forced to carry bigger loads offensively.

Gasol, who ranks 72nd with a 0.5 nERD, has been having something of a down year, but he has still been one of the most valuable players for Memphis. His 46.5 Effective Field Goal Percentage and 11.7 Total Rebound Rate are both career lows, but he has still been a strong defensive presence, posting a 3.6 percent Block Rate and ranking third on the team with a 104 Defensive Rating.
