Joe Johnson hits game-winning 3-pointer as Nets top Nuggets

Brooklyn Nets guard/forward Joe Johnson banked in a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to help beat the Denver Nuggets, 105-104, on Monday.

What It Means:

He finished with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting with eight assists, three boards, two steals and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes. He did score 20 or more points in two games last week, but Johnson still has very little upside. It's possible the Nets negotiate a buyout so that he can join a contender.

Johnson still has the fourth-worst nERD in the league at -8.5 with a 50.5 True Shooting Percentage, which is his worst mark since the 2003-2004 season. He's averaging 11.8 points (lowest since 2002-'03), 3.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 3-pointers per game.
