Rockets won't have Terrence Jones (concussion) available Saturday
Houston Rockets forward Terrence Jones (concussion) will not play against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.
He suffered the concussion in a car accident on Wednesday. Jones will have to go through league protocol and could miss games through the break. That means more run for Josh Smith. Trevor Ariza should continue to thrive at power forward.
In 45 games, Jones is averaging 9.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest in 22.3 minutes of action. Through two contests in February, Ariza is averaging 15.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.0 3-pointers per game. Both players are outside the top 100 with Jones recording a -2.5 nERD while Ariza has a -3.0 nERD. Smith is just behind both of them with a -3.3 nERD.
