Magic rule Evan Fournier (illness) doubtful for Tuesday
The Orlando Magic have tagged Evan Fournier (non-COVID illness) as doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Magic have already clinched a spot in the playoffs, so they don't need to rush any of their players back from injuries or illnesses. Fournier will miss his second straight if he is unavailable. With Fournier joining the extensive list of first- and second-string Magic players with injuries, the team could open up even more minutes for Markelle Fultz, D.J. Augustin and Wes Iwundu.
Fultz specifically will be interesting to watch. The first overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft has had a tumultuous start to his career, but still has plenty of time to turn things around. He played over 32 minutes in the Magic's last game, and while his shooting was off (0-for-4 from 3, 7-for-18 total), he did amass 10 assists and earned 6 rebounds.
