Timberwolves' Nikola Pekovic, Kevin Garnett are doubtful
Minnesota Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic (right foot) and forward/center Kevin Garnett (knee) are doubtful to play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.
It would be quite a surprise to see either player suit up on Wednesday. Gorgui Dieng's offensive role has grown recently with Pekovic and Garnett out of the lineup, and Nemanja Bjelica should see additional playing time on Wednesday. Dieng's recent play merits being owned in all fantasy leagues.
Pekovic has played just 12 games this season and has a -1.3 nERD, which ranks 87th. Garnett owns a 0.2 nERD, which ranks 72nd, in 38 games played, although he's averaging a career low 14.6 minutes per game.
