Kings willing to wait for Harrison Barnes (COVID-19) to recover
The Sacramento Kings are willing to wait for forward Harrison Barnes to fully recover from COVID-19 and join them in Orlando.
Barnes is the only member of the Kings that is yet to arrive at the NBA bubble in Orlando. Barnes tested positive roughly two weeks ago, prior to the team's departure to the bubble. The Kings are preparing as if they will not have Barnes, since his timetable is still unknown, but as of right now they have no plans to fill his roster spot. Barnes is planning to join the team once he is cleared and coach Luke Walton stated that "As long as Harrison wants to keep pursuing and join the team, we’re not going to replace him."
If Barnes is able to rejoin the Kings in time for their opener against the San Antonio Spurs on July 31st, our models project him for 14.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 24.7 FanDuel points.
