Magic's Markelle Fultz aiming to pick up where he left off when the NBA season resumes
Orlando Magic point guard Markelle Fultz focused on staying in rhythm during the NBA season's 3 1/2 month suspension, according to USA Today's Mark Medina.
Fultz purchased a basketball hoop three days into quarantine and trained daily, spending up to three hours each day on his shooting, ball-handling, and conditioning. His focus was on maintaining the "crazy rhythm" he found himself in before the suspension of the season. Fultz, who is averaging 12.1 points and 5.2 assists per game this season, will resume his season on July 31st when the Magic face the Brooklyn Nets inside the NBA's bubble in Orlando.
numberFire's models project Fultz to average 12.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.0 triples with a 41.4 field goal percentage and 34.8 3-point percentage over the rest of the season.
