Gordon Hayward (knee) doubtful for Celtics on Friday
Boston Celtics guard/forward Gordon Hayward (bruised right knee) is not expected to play on Friday versus the Utah Jazz, per head coach Brad Stevens.
Hayward was able to get through some on-court work on Thursday, but he's likely headed for a second straight absence. Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker will help fill the void on offense. Semi Ojeleye stepped up with a career-high 22 points in 30.2 minutes on Wednesday, adding 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 5 3-pointers. Brad Wanamaker and Grant Williams played expanded minutes as well.
Hayward is averaging 32.5 FanDuel points per game. numberFire's models project him for 19.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.4 blocks, and 2.8 3-pointers over the rest of the season.
