Kemba Walker (knee) expected back for Celtics in 'near future'

Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker's left knee is "fine," according to head coach Danny Ainge.

What It Means:

Ainge said he expects Walker to return to the court at "some point in the near future." Walker has missed the past four contests. His next chance to play is on Saturday against the Houston Rockets. Marcus Smart has been filling in with the starters in place of Walker. Jayson Tatum has averaged 34.5 points during Walker's absence.

Kemba is averaging 36.6 FanDuel points per game. numberFire's models project him for 25.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.2 steals, 2.2 3-pointers over the rest of the season.
