Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns (wrist) ruled out for Wednesday night
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns will not play on Wednesday in the team's game against the Charlotte Hornets.
This news comes seemingly out of nowhere, as there was no prior word about his status for Wednesday's tilt being in jeopardy. Since Gorgui Dieng's trade, Naz Reid has been playing down low with the second unit. He could potentially fill the vacancy in the starting five on Wednesday night.
In 35 games of what has been an injury-plagued season, Towns has averaged 26.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.2 blocks and 49.3 FanDuel points.
