Utah's Donovan Mitchell (illness) missing first game of season on Sunday
Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell will not play on Sunday in the team's game against the Washington Wizards.
Mitchell is missing his first game of the season, and this absence is due to an illness. With Mike Conley sidelined, Mitchell had been tasked with running the offense at the point guard. There isn't a clear-cut option to do so now that both are on the shelf, though Joe Ingles is certainly a possibility.
In 38 games this season, Mitchell has averaged 24.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 37.8 FanDuel points.
