Portland's Jusuf Nurkic (leg) targeting mid-February return
Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic (leg) is reportedly looking to get back to the court around the All-Star break in February.
What It Means:
Nurkic "is making positive strides in his rehab from the leg fracture he suffered late last season," Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Hassan Whiteside is manning the center position for Portland. It remains to be seen how many minutes Nurkic gets upon his return.
Nurkic averaged 15.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game last season.
