Dion Waiters not traveling with Miami on road trip
Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters did not travel with the team for its latest road trip, meaning he will miss the next two games at minimum.
Waiters was suspended for the season opener - a home game - on Wednesday, and he was not on the plane for the Heat's road trip to Milwaukee and Minnesota. It's unclear exactly what is happening with Waiters and the team, but for now, Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro will pick up the slack at guard.
In 44 games last season, Waiters averaged 12.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 25.9 minutes per outing.
