Wizards' Otto Porter (hip), Drew Gooden (calf) and Kris Humphries (knee) all out Monday
Washington Wizards small forward Otto Porter (hip), forward/center Drew Gooden (calf) and forward/center Kris Humphries (knee) will not play on Monday versus the Portland Trail Blazers.
Although Porter previously said he doesn't expect to miss extended time, this will be his third straight game on the sidelines, meaning Kelly Oubre will again draw the start in his place. Gooden and Humphries have been in and out of the rotation at various points this season, so their absence really just allows the Wizards to play more small ball, a style that tends to bode better for them anyway.
Porter ranks 72nd with a 0.5 nERD in 34 games this year. He's averaging 12.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 threes on 45.8 percent shooting from the field. Oubre is logging 24.9 minutes as a starter, putting up 8.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 threes (11-for-18 total from deep) on a 61.3 True Shooting Percentage. His -1.5 nERD ranks 92nd in the league.
