Brandon Knight

Suns' Brandon Knight (illness) ruled out of Tuesday's contest

Phoenix Suns guard Brandon Knight (illness) will not play against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.

What It Means:

Archie Goodwin moves into the starting point guard spot tonight with Knight on the sidelines, and Phoenix is going to be desperate for offense with their go-to-guy unavailable. Lorenzo Brown will earn extended minutes off the bench, and Devin Booker could spend some time running the offense. The Suns won't play again until Friday, and Knight should be considered questionable for that contest with the Boston Celtics.

Knight ranks 122nd with a -4.7 nERD through 39 games this season. He's averaging 19.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.1 threes on a career-high 42.5 percent shooting this season. With Eric Bledsoe done for the year, Knight has the highest Usage Percentage on the team.
