Dwight Howard (back) a game-time decision for Rockets
Houston Rockets forward/center Dwight Howard (lower back tightness) will be a game-time decision for Thursday's matchup with the Utah Jazz.
Howard is headed for a true game-time decision tonight after not being a full participant during shootaround. If he's out, there will be more minutes available for Terrence Jones and Montrezl Harrell, while Trevor Ariza would likely contribute with extended minutes at the four-spot. Keep an eye out for another update.
Howard is in the top 50 with a 3.4 nERD this season. He's averaging 13.9 points, 11.7 rebounds (third in the league), 1.0 steals and 1.6 blocks on 61.7 percent shooting through 30 games. His 19.9 Total Rebound Percentage is eighth in the league.
