Minnesota's Derrick Rose (elbow) likely done for season
Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose (elbow) is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season.
Rose is dealing with a chip fracture and loose body in his right elbow, an MRI revealed, so he may require surgery. The 30-year-old former MVP appeared in 51 games and drew 13 starts for Minnesota this season, highlighted by a career-best 50-point performance on Halloween. Jeff Teague (foot) is also expected to remain on the shelf for the rest of the year, so Tyus Jones should continue to start at point guard.
Rose averaged 28.7 FanDuel points per game this season, with 18.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.1 triples per contest.
