C.J. Watson to sign with Orlando
The Magic will reportedly give Watson a 3-year $15 million deal. He will earn $5 million each of the next two seasons however only $1 million of the remanding $5 million for his third year is guaranteed.
What It Means:
Watson had a solid year with Indiana last season averaging 10 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 24.9 minutes while posting a 2.0 nERD. Watson will improve Orlando's perimeter shooting as a 38.3% career sniper from downtown and will provide leadership and guidance to Orlando's young guard Elfrid Payton.
