Wesley Matthews officially signs with Pacers
The Indiana Pacers and guard/forward Wesley Matthews officially agreed to a contract for the rest of the 2018-19 season.
What It Means:
Matthews was traded to the New York Knicks from the Dallas Mavericks on January 31 before being waived this past Thursday. He lands in an optimal fantasy situation with the Pacers, as Victor Oladipo (knee) is out for the season and Tyreke Evans hasn't been able to fill the void. The 32-year-old veteran will be available to make his Indiana debut on Monday against the Charlotte Hornets.
Matthews has averaged 20.7 FanDuel points in 46 games (45 starts) this season. numberFire's models expect him to record 12.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.7 steals, and 1.8 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
