Dennis Smith Jr. will not make Knicks debut Friday
New York Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. will not be active in Friday's game against the Boston Celtics.
Smith was officially acquired from the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night, so this isn't much of a surprise. Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Courtney Lee are gone, while Emmanuel Mudiay (shoulder) and Frank Ntilikina (groin) are still out, so look for Damyean Dotson, Allonzo Trier, and Kadeem Allen to log heavy minutes for New York on Friday.
DSJ averaged 24.7 FanDuel points in 32 games for the Mavericks. numberFire's models expect him to record 14.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.5 triples per contest over the remainder of the year.
