76ers' Jimmy Butler reportedly seeing wrist specialist
Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Jimmy Butler will see a specialist for his sprained right wrist on Friday in Los Angeles, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Butler is doubtful for Saturday's road game against the Denver Nuggets, but "both sides are optimistic he will play during 76ers' four-game road trip," per Charania. There should be an update after Friday's appointment. Corey Brewer has started the past two games and Landry Shamet has benefitted off the bench.
Butler is averaging 37.4 FanDuel points through 38 games this season, with 19.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.0 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 1.3 3-pointers per contest.
