Josh Jackson scores season-high 27 points in Suns' loss

Phoenix Suns guard/forward Josh Jackson scored a season-high 27 points (10-of-18 field goals, 5-of-9 free throws) with 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, 2 3-pointers, and 1 turnover in 31.5 minutes of a 118-91 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.

What It Means:

Deandre Ayton (ankle) and Richaun Holmes (foot) were inactive, T.J. Warren left early with an ankle injury, and Devin Booker was ejected in the third quarter, so Jackson stepped up to help fill the void. It was his second 20-point game and first double-double of the season. He could see an expanded role again on Thursday versus the Portland Trail Blazers if Ayton and/or Warren are unavailable.

Jackson finished with a season-best 51.5 FanDuel points in the loss. He's averaging 20.6 FanDuel points through 49 games overall.
