Giannis Antetokounmpo (hip) downgraded to doubtful for Bucks Friday
Milwaukee Bucks small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (hip) has been downgraded to doubtful for Friday's game versus the Washington Wizards.
What It Means:
Antetokounmpo was previously considered probable for this one with right quad soreness and a left hip contusion, so it was believed to be a minor issue coming off Wednesday's career-high effort on the glass, but it looks like it will cost him at least one game. Eric Bledsoe is questionable for an undisclosed issue, so Khris Middleton could wind up with a heavy workload on Friday night. Ersan Ilyasova (quad, probable) may draw the start in place of Giannis.
