Elfrid Payton (finger) will play and start for New Orleans Monday

New Orleans Pelicans guard Elfrid Payton (finger) will play on Monday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves.

What It Means:

Payton has been out since mid-November with a fractured left pinky but will return to the starting lineup on Monday night. The point guard is expected to have a minutes limit though. Tim Frazier will see a reduced role with Payton back with Solomon Hill likely moving back to the bench.

Our models project Payton for 27.8 FanDuel points in 29.2 minutes on Monday night.
