Hawks say Taurean Prince (ankle) 'still a ways away' from return
Atlanta Hawks small forward Taurean Prince (left ankle) is "still a ways away," head coach Lloyd Pierce said.
"He hasn’t done any low-impact activity," Pierce explained. "I think we’ll be looking at him after New Year. That’s the safest bet." The Hawks have four games left in December, so it sounds like Prince will be sidelined until at least a January 2 matchup with the Washington Wizards, if not longer. Kent Bazemore and Kevin Huerter should continue to benefit in the meantime. Prince last played on December 3.
Prince is averaging 25.1 FanDuel points through 21 games, with 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.4 3-pointers per contest.
