Jeff Green double-doubles in Wizards' loss with season-high 22 points
Washington Wizards guard/forward Jeff Green started and scored a season-high 22 points (7-of-11 field goals, 2-of-5 3-pointers, 6-of-7 free throws) with 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block in 45.5 minutes of a 130-125 overtime loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
Green scored just 4 points in his previous two starts this season, so the season-high showing was a bit unexpected. Otto Porter (knee) will likely be back for Friday's matchup with the Brooklyn Nets, so Green figures to head back to the bench for that one.
Green also scored a season-high 43.0 FanDuel points in the loss. He's averaging 20.5 FanDuel points through 26 games overall.
