Al Horford 'day-to-day' for Celtics with patellar tendinitis
Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (knee) has been dealing with patellar tendinitis, head coach Brad Stevens said on Monday.
“He’s day-to-day right now, but we may go slowly with him,” Stevens noted. Horford said he's been dealing with soreness for "probably like a month now," but is hopeful that things will improve in "a couple more days." Daniel Theis has started each of the past two games for Boston in place of Horford.
Horford is averaging 31.4 FanDuel points through 22 games. numberFire's models project him to record 18.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.7 blocks per game over the rest of the year.
