Kevin Knox turns in 26 points, 15 boards for Knicks
New York Knicks rookie small forward Kevin Knox scored 26 points (10-of-25 field goals, 4-of-8 3-pointers, 2-of-2 free throws) with 15 rebounds and 1 steal in 41.2 minutes of a 119-107 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.
This was Knox's first career double-double, as he set a new personal-best in rebounds and matched his season-high in points, hitting 26 for the second time in the past five games. The 19-year-old also joined LeBron James as the only teenagers to ever post 26 points and 15 rebounds in a game. Through five December contests, Knox is averaging 15.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.2 3-pointers. The Knicks visit the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
Knox also set a new season-high with 47.0 FanDuel points. He's averaging 16.5 FanDuel points through 21 games overall.
