Joakim Noah, Grizzlies reportedly agree to 1-year deal

The Memphis Grizzlies and forward/center Joakim Noah have agreed to a 1-year, veteran's minimum deal, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic.

What It Means:

Shams says the Grizzlies have had their eyes on Noah as a backup center since the start of the season. He should allow Marc Gasol to play a little less and may knock Ivan Rabb out of the rotation. Noah turns 34 in February.

Noah averaged a mere 1.7 points and 2.0 rebounds in 5.7 minutes over seven games for the New York Knicks last season.
