New Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton (right ankle) will be a game-time call for Wednesday's contest against the Minesota Timberwolves.
What It Means:
Payton will be on a minutes limit if he’s cleared to return after missing the last eight games, according to ESPN’s Malika Andrews. Jrue Holiday has been handling point guard duties in Payton’s absence and Wes Johnson has been a starter.
