Donovan Mitchell (ankle) out for Jazz Monday
Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (left ankle sprain) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Toronto Raptors.
Mitchell injured his ankle during Saturday's loss to the Denver Nuggets but he was able to return after a brief departure and didn't expect to miss any time. The Jazz are likely taking a conservative approach with their rising star, so hopefully he is ready to return on Wednesday versus the Dallas Mavericks. Alec Burks, Grayson Allen, Dante Exum, and Royce O'Neale are all in line for a minutes boost, but there will be plenty of extra opportunity to go around on offense with Mitchell unavailable.
Mitchell is averaging 35.4 FanDuel points in games this season. numberFire's models project him to average 8.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 0.7 3-pointers in 26.3 minutes per game over the rest of the season.
