Chris Wood, Forward, Burnley

Salary: $8,000

Over their last six Premier League fixtures, the third-best team in the Premier League is Burnley. With three wins and three draws, Burnley is behind only the two Manchester clubs in their last six matches. During those matches they have scored an average of 1.5 goals per match and now face a Brighton side that finally appears to be losing their long-held strong form at home with just one win in their last five matches.

This match is loaded with value forwards, with Wood, his teammate Ashley Barnes ($9,000), and Seagull's striker Glenn Murray ($8,000), all in action. Of this trio, Wood is likely to have the lowest level of ownership. Barnes has been a man on fire in recent weeks, with a goal in each of his last two matches and an average FanDuel point output of 25.1 over his last six matches. Murray has been hit or miss lately but produced 52.6 FanDuel points nine days ago, and many of his "hit" weeks this season have come on previous main slates.

Wood hasn't matched Barnes' production, but he does have three goals in his last six matches and has played over 87 minutes in all but one of them. He should feature heavily again on Saturday at a fraction of the ownership of Barnes. While their results haven't been good, Brighton's defense at home has been, allowing just five goals in their last six home matches. However, they allow 12.3 shots per home match, the sixth-most in the Premier League, and maintain just 41.9% possession, the second lowest in the Premier League. The chances should be there for Burnley and on their current form, they are likely to put them away.
