Wilfried Zaha, Forward, Crystal Palace

Salary: $10,500

Wilfried Zaha hasn't started for Palace since he received a red card against Southampton on January 30th. Prior to being sent off, he scored in that match and has produced FanDuel point performances of 16.3, 17.3, and 35.5 in his last three matches. Zaha's talent is known, but his price is high enough that the masses are likely to pay the extra amount required for Arsenal's striker duo of Alexandre Lacazette ($11,500) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($12,000) instead of rostering Zaha.

While Arsenal has been far from dominant, the last time they were on the main slate both Lacazette and Aubameyang produced over 40 FanDuel points each, which should keep their ownership levels high. In addition to the talented strikers in his salary range, the texture of the slate, with multiple marquee expensive options available such as Mohamed Salah ($13,000) and Sadio Mane ($11,500), should mean Zaha is difficult to afford. The public will likely opt for at least one value striker, which should lower ownership on all strikers in the $9000 to $11,000 salary range. Opting for two expensive striker and less expensive midfielders, or using Zaha as an expensive striker over either option from Arsenal and Liverpool, should lead to unique roster construction this weekend.

Ownership aside, Zaha's outlook this weekend is arguably as good as any striker on the slate. Crystal Palace bounced back from their draw against Southampton to defeat Fulham by two goals last weekend and now face a West Ham defense that has struggled massively in recent road games. Against the middling opposition of Burnley, Bournemouth, and Wolves, West Ham is winless in their last three away matches, allowing multiple goals in all three, and losing all three by a combined score of seven to zero. Zaha should have every opportunity to excel this weekend.
