3 Daily Fantasy Players to Avoid in Week 4

Despite a palatable price tag on both FanDuel and DraftKings this week, Matthew Stafford faces concerns regarding the pace of this game, as well as having to face an underrated Dallas secondary on the road.

Stafford and the Lions have been up-and-down offensively through three games, as the veteran signal-caller has averaged just 18.4 FanDuel points per contest while averaging 46 pass attempts per game. The volume has been great, but the efficiency has been concerning. With the Cowboys being 28th in the NFL in pace, Stafford doesn't figure to have near the number of pass attempts that he has averaged thus far.

The other concern in this matchup is the fact that Dallas has surprisingly defended the pass extremely well to this point. Stafford's bread-and-butter throughout his career has been the big play, but the Cowboys have allowed only three completions of 20 yards or more despite facing Cam Newton, Eli Manning and Russell Wilson.

With the Lions also featuring the sixth-lowest implied team total on the week (20.3 points), Stafford is an easy fade in Week 4.
