Quarterback

Tom Brady, New England Patriots

Week 14 Salary: $9,500
Week 15 Salary: $8,800

It's fair to say that Tom Brady ruined many a fantasy playoff team and DFS lineup with his 11.32-point performance against the Miami Dolphins last week. In fact, he's barely topped 20 points in his past two games combined. From that standpoint, it's no wonder his FanDuel salary has dropped $700 from last week's lofty $9,500. On the other hand, the price drop looks like a gift with his upcoming matchup.

Brady leads the New England Patriots into Heinz Field to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that could determine the AFC's top seed in this year's playoffs.

The matchup sets up well for a number of reasons. The Steelers started the season as a top pass defense, but that reputation has deteriorated quickly. They have allowed multiple touchdowns to all five quarterbacks they've faced since their Week 9 bye. To whom, you might ask? The murderers' row of Jacoby Brissett, Marcus Mariota, Brett Hundley, Andy Dalton, and Joe Flacco. Mariota is ranked 21st in points per game, the highest among this elite group.

In addition to Pittsburgh's recent woes, Brady has traditionally performed well against them. He has topped 27 FanDuel points in four of his past six against the Black and Gold, averaging more than 3 touchdowns per game during that span. The Patriots have an implied total of 28.25, so there should be plenty of opportunity to rack up fantasy points. At $8,800, Brady is still the highest priced quarterback. Given the matchup and importance of this game, however, that could still prove cheap.
