DeShone Kizer, QB, Cleveland Browns
DraftKings Price: $4,900
You may not have been able to convince anyone to use DeShone Kizer early in 2017. Struggling through rookie doldrums, dealing with injuries to receivers, and losing his coach's confidence all played a role in him becoming a fantasy also-ran. Since Week 8, however, he's channeled all of the chaos and become -- dare I say it -- somewhat consistent, at least for fantasy purposes.
In his past five outings, Kizer has scored at least 14.96 DraftKings points four times, reaching more than three-times value (based off his salary-implied total) in all of those games. This week sets up for him to at least match his recent success, if not blow it out of the water. He got Josh Gordon back last week, and Gordon finished with 4 catches and 83 yards on 11 targets, easily the most on the team. Players with lots of targets destroy the Green Bay Packers, according to our own JJ Zachariason.
11 wideouts have seen 8+ targets against the Packers this year. On average, they've scored 19.61 fantasy points per game.

Simply put -- Kizer now has a big-time weapon, and he's likely going to use him early and often this week. Let's not forget that Corey Coleman is healthy, too, and the Cleveland Browns still have a couple of solid pieces in the backfield. Though the Browns have an implied total of only 18.5 points, we still project Kizer to finish with 17.0 points against a Green Bay defense that has allowed top-five production to the position in the past five weeks.
