Tyrod Taylor Will Be a Top-3 Quarterback

Why This Is Bold: Tyrod Taylor was benched for last week's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Even though he ended up making an appearance, it's clear the team has no trust in him. Taylor currently ranks as the 15th-best quarterback in points per game.

Why This Will Happen: Tyrod came off the bench after halftime of last week's game in relief of Nathan Peterman, who was beyond dreadful. Taylor's production -- 18 fantasy points in one half -- was fueled by garbage time, but he was able to score both through the air and on the ground.

It's Taylor's ability to run that provides his floor in terms of fantasy production. In fact, he's rushed for a touchdown in three of the last four games, the only exception being the game against the New Orleans Saints, during which he was benched.

Buffalo's defense has been absolutely throttled by opposing offenses lately, allowing 34, 47, and 54 points in the last three weeks respectively. Game script is almost certain to be in the Kansas City Chiefs' favor, meaning Taylor will have to throw often to keep the Bills in the game.

The Chiefs rank just 25th in the league in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. Taylor should have volume in a good matchup, making him a worthwhile start.
