NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Sunday 5/6/18

Stephen Curry has produced solid fantasy numbers without his usual pristine shooting. Which other NBA DFS options should you target on Sunday?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 3:30 p.m. EST and contains two games.

Best of the Best

Anthony Davis ($12,800) - If there were an award for DFS MVP during the playoffs, Davis would be one of the early favorites. In seven games this postseason, the Brow is averaging 60.4 FanDuel points per game while dropping at least 59 FanDuel points five times. His play in the first-round sweep over the Portland Trail Blazers was impressive, but the New Orleans Pelicans' superstar has taken his all-around game to another level versus the Golden State Warriors. Dropping 26.3 real-world points per night is nothing to overlook, but his 14.3 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game has delighted fantasy owners. With another home game on tap for Sunday -- Davis has averaged 66.0 FanDuel points in three home playoff games -- the big man is set to romp once again.
