Rodney Hood, SF, Portland Trail Blazers

FanDuel Price: $4,400
Projected FanDuel Points: 19.3
Projected FanDuel Value: 4.38

The Portland Trail Blazers are in an interesting position as we barrel toward the end of the regular season. The team has won five in a row and 8 of their past 10, but they're now missing two key pieces in C.J. McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic.

While McCollum should be back for the playoffs (and Blazers fans would hope before then), a number of players have had to step up in his absence. One such player is relatively new Blazer Rodney Hood.

Hood has played 20 games for his new team, 15 without McCollum and 5 with. he's seeing an extra 5.4 minutes per game and scoring an extra 6.1 FanDuel points in games McCollum has missed, though his output has been rather all over the place. He has scored as few as 11.0 FanDuel points and as many as 29.9 in those contests without C.J., though tonight's matchup should make the latter seem more probable than the former.

Hood faced the Atlanta Hawks twice with the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this season, scoring 20.1 and 39.7 FanDuel points against them, respectively. Still, he's not a player you want to use in cash games this evening because his output is simply too inconsistent. We currently have him pegged for 19.3 FanDuel points with upside for 38.1.
