Coco Crisp hits lone Game 3 RBI as Indians take 2-1 series lead
Cleveland Indians outfielder Coco Crisp played the role of hero in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday, plating the only run of the ballgame in a 1-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
Small ball was in full force during Game 3, where the staffs were pitching shutouts until the seventh inning. Roberto Perez singled and was pinch ran for by Michael Martinez. After a sacrifice and a wild pitch, Martinez was plated by Crisp for the game's only run.
After posting a .301 wOBA between Oakland and Cleveland this season, Crisp is hitting .211 with two home runs and four RBI's in the postseason.
