Will Brennan at designated hitter Tuesday for Cleveland
Cleveland Guardians outfielder Will Brennan will start at designated hitter and bat seventh on Tuesday against right-hander Garrett Whitlock and the Boston Red Sox.
What It Means:
Brennan went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and 2 runs scored off the bench in Monday's opener. He will take over at DH in the second game of the series. Jose Ramirez will shift back to third base and Gabriel Arias will replace Brayan Rocchio at shortstop. Ramon Laureano will also reclaim right field from Estevan Florial and hit sixth.
