Marlon Byrd goes 4-for-4 with a homer in Cleveland loss

Cleveland Indians outfielder Marlon Byrd went 4-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Texas Rangers.

What It Means:

The Indians had a couple long balls in this one, but unfortunately for them, they were pretty meaningless. After the Rangers jumped out to a 9-0 lead, Mike Napoli smashed a long solo shot in the sixth, and Byrd added a blast to left in the seventh.

Byrd will turn 39 in August but has remained pretty productive, hitting .270/.328/.459 with five homers and 19 RBI's. We project him to put up a .312 wOBA with 12 more jacks over the rest of the season.
