When Steven Wright is the top pitching option, that says a lot about the slate. With no aces on the mound, Wright is tonight’s most expensive pitcher at $9,500.

Wright throws his knuckleball 75 percent of the time, but he’s never thrown it as well as this season.

He’s upped his swinging strike percentage to a career-high 11.6 percent. With this newfound success, Wright has been very consistent. He’s pitched six-plus innings in all but one start and has recorded six-plus strikeouts in six of his eight games.

He’s a -170 favorite tonight and facing the Rockies away from Coors Field, which is about as good as it gets on tonight’s main slate.
