With a 3.74 SIERA and 16.8% strikeout rate, Marcus Stroman has been a disappointment through his first 61 2/3 innings of the season. Stroman still owns a superb ground ball rate (61.3%), but his 6.6% walk rate -- which is better than the league average -- is a career-worst clip (as is his strikeout rate). Today’s matchup with the Minnesota Twins gives him a great chance to get back on track. The Twins rank 27th in wOBA (.294), 21st in homers (40), 20th in walk rate (7.8%) and 26th in strikeout rate (23.6%).
