Ian Happ, OF, Chicago Cubs

With the Oakland Athletics taken out of the equation due to rain, the Chicago Cubs sit alone at the top, with a slate-high 5.27 implied team total against Matt Harvey. They figure to be tonight's most popular offense by a large margin, with left-handed bats getting the biggest boost. Harvey is allowing a horrendous 6.64 FIP, 43.4% hard-hit rate, and .406 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA) to them this year.

Ian Happ may have the platoon advantage and enticing salary, but as the number-eight hitter, he may not get as much attention as some of the other Cubbies.

Despite the poor slot in the order, dating back to last year, Happ owns a 37.6% hard-hit rate, .350 wOBA, and .270 ISO against right-handed pitching. Particularly with the game being played within Great American Ball Park, this is a potential blow-up spot for Chicago, and Happ could very well get in on the fun.
