J.D. Martinez, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks

J.D. Martinez is on pace to post career highs in both wOBA (.420) and ISO (.375) this season. Right-handed pitching also hasn't slowed him down much, turning a hefty 45.9% hard-hit rate into a .391 wOBA and .340 ISO.

He has also been making solid contact recently, ranking 18th in average exit velocity and 21st in average batted-ball distance (minimum of 10 batted balls) in the past 15 days -- with 6 home runs, 12 RBI and a .478 wOBA over 13 games in that span.

His matchup today against San Diego Padres righty Dinelson Lamet doesn't give his value a boost, but it also shouldn't scare you off. Lamet's 3.92 SIERA is a solid mark, but he's also allowing solid contact (33.5% hard-hit rate and 42.1% fly-ball rate). He's not a huge threat to slow down a guy that crushes baseballs the way Martinez has been.
