No doubt, Zack Godley has a lot of sparkling stats in the holster this season, sporting a 3.59 SIERA, 25.0% strikeout rate and 57.0% ground-ball rate.

Unfortunately, he gets the Washington Nationals tonight, who have a 4.58 implied team total, and an active roster that strikes out to righties just 18.4% of the time. Although he's had success at home, Godley also has the unenviable task of pitching at Chase Field.

Sometimes it's a good tournament play to use pitchers in tough matchups to get them at low ownership, but on a slate where you have to contend with guys like Chris Sale and Max Scherzer, it's going to be awfully difficult to keep up with the top options. If you want to pay down, you're better off going with Trevor Cahill instead.
