Home and Away Form Matters

Overall form generally tells a big story, but going a little further on these slates might give the edge. Wolves, Palace, and Huddersfield are all on the road, but only Huddersfield has poor road form in the last five games. Palace have gained points from their last three trips on the road and Wolves have won three of the last four to propel them to sixth in the league.

Meanwhile their opponents, Bournemouth, Leicester, and Newcastle, are struggling at home. Leicester have the worst form of the three while Newcastle have the best with a draw in their last match.

The form differentiation is not as pronounced on the Saturday slate. Bournemouth, Fulham, and Watford have not had the best away form. Their opponents have done reasonably well at home. Arsenal have won three of five while Southampton have earned the majority of their points at home. Liverpool have won most of their games so obviously they have been good at Anfield.
