Aleksandar Mitrovic, Forward, Fulham

Salary: $11,000

Yes, $11,000 is a lofty salary for a Fulham forward, but that price -- along with some other appealing high-priced options at forward -- is the reason Mitrovic will likely carry low ownership on Tuesday. At this point, Mitrovic certainly isn't flying under anyone's radar, but his salary has reached a point where he is surrounded by bigger names on much bigger clubs. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($12,000), Romelu Lukaku ($11,000), Anthony Martial ($10,500), and Alexandre Lacazette ($10,500) are all in his salary range and will almost certainly carry higher ownership this weekend.

Mitrovic hasn't produced in his last two matches, but before that, he had a run of three consecutive matches with more than 20 FanDuel points, and his upside is apparent from his two games of 50-plus FanDuel points earlier in the season. Opting for Aaron Ramsey instead of a higher-priced midfielder from Manchester frees up enough salary to use Mitrovic in a second forward spot (alongside another high-priced forward).

Fulham have lost their last three matches but have scored in each of their last five, including goals against Arsenal and Tottenham. Brighton, the opposition on Tuesday, come into this match off of a dismal 0-0 draw against Championship side West Brom in the FA Cup on Saturday. Fulham were eliminated from the FA Cup in the previous round and should have the fresher legs for this clash. Brighton's away form has been mentioned ad nauseam in this piece, but it still merits attention as they have conceded two goals in each of their last three away matches.
